This person has been a faithful customer for over 30 some years. She is a pillar of her community and has given me tons of referrals. I did her portrait for my book project last year but was not happy with my shot. So I try again. Either I moved or she did, cause the shot is a little blurred. So I resorted to the use of filter (dry brush) to cover up my mistake.

Thanks Helene, only some of them get to see the pictures. I'm just collecting them for now and really want to put them into a book or binder of some kind. Not sure if I'll be able to publish it, but this is my original intention.
Well, it's sunny and hot and at the end (where I turn around) of my cycling ride, I got this panorama. Shot vertical and merged with CS5. D90, 28-85 3.3-4.5, iso 200, 1/200 f16.
Well, I got a surprise today. We drove to Maine for a day of sun and sea and I had taken my D90. But, I forgot the battery in the charger…Duh. So I had to use my little Canon powershot to do my daily pic.
The first piano person of the day suffered a stroke 2 years ago and is just starting to play again. I really like his hands in this pic. The backlights are blown but this is it:
And she was camera shy, had to insist and ask 3 times before she agreed. I'm glad I did. I like the light on her face.
