Day 148, May 27th

This is not an extraordinary pic, but my friend tells me this bike is. Apparently made limited, even Harley don't have a picture of it in any of it's catalogs. He's rebuilt it and is waiting for Jay Leno to buy it.

Day 149, May 29th

Gord was absolutely certain he didn't want his pic taken. I insisted and begged and he succeeded in keeping his eyes closed. But his expression is still there and I like the shot.

Day 153, June 3rd

Anne is the coordinator of the Piano Technology course at Western University in London, ON. She was the organizer of our weekend long seminar. She was overdue for a break.

Day 156, May 6th

Piano person today. I had to get 2 shots to emphasize the piano's beautiful inlaid veneer and the room's character.

Day 157 to 161. June 7th-10th.

Just back from a week of work out of town with no internet access so I'll post a few pics for last week's daily pics just as one post. If it disqualifies me from the grand prize well I'm fine with that too ;)

My best pic was done after cajoling this restaurant hostess to get a snapshot of her nice facial features. For 3200 iso, I thought this turned out quite good:

Then a shot of the corridor at U of Alberta:

And a few pics for my piano person's future book:

Day 161, June 11th

Back home at last, got together with my D700 and had a close look at my flowers.

Day 162, June 12th

I only had mixed lighting to do my piano person's pic today. So I did what I could.

Day 163, June 13th

Using window light and my little DEL flashlight as a fill-in, I took this picture of piano hammers before they get worn.

And my garden is growing nice and steady. Hopefully the groundhog I saw the other night will be nailed by my neighbors before it gets to my veggies.

Day 164, June 14th

Played with the 105 macro lens and I still marvel at nature's way to create beautiful sight for the eyes.

Day 165, May 15

I'll have to get my numbers straight. Days are hard to count, specially when you skip a few.

Found out what was responsible for putting holes in the lettuce from my garden

I need to find a way to keep track of these days. Maybe I'll go out and buy a 2012 discounted agenda just to make sure I live the right day. Ain't it a pain when you realize you lived the wrong day… ;)

I just made a calendar using an excel spreadsheet Column numbered 1 - 366 and Dates in the next column. Made a third column showing days left. Crude but effective
