I had to replace the sky on this one. I don't like doing it, but when the only other choice is to scrap the whole image, then I have no choice.

It's not often I get a chance to shoot a bird of prey with a fish in it's claws.

I had a terrible day a couple of days ago. It seemed like all of my good ideas.... well they just weren't working out. I think I may have salvaged this shot, sort of. Ha! It is a Cancer Survivors Monument. I'm not sure, but I feel it represents the people with cancer on their up and down journey toward healing.

Processed in RawTherapee, Cropped and then did final processing in GIMP to enhance the people and structure they are walking through.

Thanks, Dave. I followed this tutorial. It is actually quite easy, but refining edge and tidying up tiny details might take a while. There are some imperfections, though, a few tiny feathers missing. I still need to learn how to make it perfect.
