This is a sunset shot looking east through the Birdseye Valley at Killington Mountain, VT. Pico Mountain is casting a shadow onto the basin. This is a view from my home. We had some pink hazy skies this afternoon with bitter cold. I used to have a telescope that would let me see the skiers on the mountain.
From last summer; just south of Birmingham, Alabama . It's from a group of shots that I forgot about. The sun was setting on a long, hot day, and I still had more than four hours of driving left before I got home.
Haven't posted here in a while. One of those harsh sunset shots that people seem to like, but I'm not that crazy about.
Not much else is happening today.
