This pic. If you don't know the difference, odds are you're not editing in 16-bit anyway...so nevermind.
8-bit is capable of producing about 16.8 million colors, which is more than the human eye can see anyway. 16-bit is in the trillions. Some photographers (including myself) edit in 16-bit mode, and then convert images to 8-bit when publishing on the internet. Web browsers are not capable of interpreting 16-bit images and the colors end up look somewhat drab and grayish.
The major advantage of 16-bit editing is additional flexibility, particularly with color gradients and image re-sizing:
Anthony, thank you so much for pointing it out. Frankly, I heard/read about that before but didnt really care as long as I like the output of my pics and the printed ones have the same output as what I can see on my monitor.
That particular picture was really intended to be a hi-key picture and was post processed a bit cold than warm thus the bluish cast in it.

I do something very different with off camera flash. I use a very high shutter speed.... around 1/1000 to 1/1500 and a wide open aperture... usually around 2.8. The ISO is usually no more than 200
I set my flash on manual , no less than 1/2 thru a transparent umbrella at a distance of about 18 inches from my subject.

Gorgeous portrait...except for that shiny spot near the top of her head. That's the only thing that I can see that I would change. Other than that........stunning photo.
