October 20th, still playing around with the D600 and 55 1.2 but added the +2 close-up filter on it. This is a blueberry shrub that I planted this spring. Although we only ate about 5 blueberries, it does have a very nice coloring in the fall. Straight jpeg out of camera only resized with CS6

I'm just not sure how the poor Mexican dog will like our -25 degree winters over here. No fur to protect itself... I find it a bit crazy for someone to get a breed like that in our Canadian climate.

It's been a while since our temperature is so so miserable for doing outdoor pics. We attended cooking class last night and I thought I'd share what the D700 with 55 1.2 was able to capture under not so favorable light and high iso.

I saw this business card holder in an antique shop today and just couldn't resist the picture. I think I'm going to go back and get it.

It has been a while since I posted a piano person. So here's a good faithful customer of about 30 years.

October 31st out with the D600 24-70 but I ended up having to use my (always in the car) 70-210 older lens because I just couldn't get close enough with the 24-70. Overall, I'm enjoying this lens, specially since I only paid 75 $ for it :)
