Glad you like them To,. You can get up close and personal stood at the end of the runway as they land. It gets pretty noisy as they pass over the top of you at about 50 feet

READ THIS FIRST!!!!! I was at our weekly photography meeting tonight and was showing them my new lens. I didn't look at any of the settings but I did zoom out to 600mm and took a quick shot of this framed pattern on the back wall of the coffee shop. I know the white balance is not set right but take a look how well it came out sharpness wise. I didn't know until after I took a look at the data that it was taken at 1/25 of a second and this was shot hand held at the full 600mm. This is a JPEG straight out of the camera.

grandpa, i would take that lens back, it seems to be stuck on 600mm.
Ron, most everything I shoot is too far away to shoot any closer. I am very happy with the results at 600mm and anything less should just be better.

Unique Photo called and left me a message that the Tammy 150-600 were in stock. I ordered online today. Crossing my fingers.

They didn't indicate out of stock when I ordered. I did notice, though, that the only negative feedback they get seems to be when people order, then get an email notice later that the item was out of stock. So far, no notice. Again, crossing my fingers.
