That's a good sign if she's looking to eat something (though hopefully not her arm ;) ). Continued thoughts and prayers!

Bill... I'm an in-home care giver. Sometimes, in certain circumstances, I also accompany my clients if they are hospitalized. You would be surprised how many times I have witnessed zero visitation from their loved ones... Not even phone calls for many of them. I think that's a damn shame too! You're one of the good ones Bill... Keep doing what you're doing. It means everything to your wife.

If tapatalk would let me "like" Tom's post, I would. We saw the same thing with my father-in-law when he was in the nursing home. The relationship you two have is inspiring!

I really hope and pray that your wife will continue to manage well and that her condition improves very soon. You both share such a strong bond of love and nothing can take that away. That is a beautiful thing. Keep all hope.

Bill, at the moment I'm outta words that haven't already been said by your other friends on this forum. Just want you and your love to know that our family is still thinking of and praying for you both. God bless.

My love is doing better today, and even had pancakes this morning for breakfast! The doctor is saying my beloved will be sent to rehab sometime today, so things are looking up for my love and I! :D
She gave permission to post a photo of her since you all have been so caring to us! This is my beloved while still in the hospital. :)

Lol apparently we have some pancakes fans! Lol I'm a French toast guy myself! Lol ;)

I'm feeling a little giddy with relief, even though I'll have to wait some time while my beloved goes through rehab. The highlight of everyday is seeing her smile at me. It makes me feel like I done something right as a husband. Like I've said, I'm a very very lucky man! :D

Terrific news, Bill! We'll keep praying that her recovery continues. I hope now you can relax a bit. Maybe take the camera out for a walk and see if this photography thing is really for you ;)

I can't really relax too much, since I still have a lot of stuff to do before my love comes home, but I am relieved she is doing better. :)
Well if this photography thing isn't for me, then I've sure wasted a ton of money! Lol :p

Bill, is your beloved of Italian descent? Her photo reminds me of my grandmother and mother (who I'm starting to see in the mirror when I look at myself).

That's great news on the pancakes. Is she in rehab yet?

Bill, I'm very happy to hear your wife is making improvements! That is good news, indeed! :)

Before she goes to the rehab facility, you should make sure to find out which medicine(s) may cause the stomach irritation. Not all rehab facilities are the best or most accurate with giving their medicines at the appropriate times. For example, when my mother was in one, one of her medications needed to be taken an hour before eating (on an empty stomach). The staff rarely ever did it that way. If a particular medicine is known to cause stomach problems, please be sure to find out when and how it is supposed to be given so this problem doesn't start all over again. You will need to be her advocate when she leaves the hospital. ;)
