And why does America always have to do things differently?
4/10 on this side of the world is 4th October which is day ??????? (couldn't be bothered to work it out :D)

I retrospect i think I will just repeat day 100 tomorrow.
Much easier than paging back to see where I went wrong.

Is there a big penalty for being slow (or in this case too fast)?
I can of course use "living upside down" as my excuse.

I know what you mean on the date format. Having lived in Europe for so long I get screwed up on dates between month/day/year and day/month/year. The second makes so much more sense, but so does the metric system and we don't use that either. Honestly, I know metrics is easier, but have no concept of the lengths, measure, or weights and hate using it.

America, dare to be different just because. :)

I am so glad I went with my gut and didn't say it was something I wouldn't eat! LoL. Nice close up. So......what was it?

LOL have to agree that the photo didn't look appetising at all.
It was just a stew I threw together with what was in the fridge, Meat was rump steak which is too tender (yes tender) for good stew.

The close up looked like neon jellyfish to me. And I get the too tender for stew. You need texture and substance in a stew. Else you just have a broth.....

Day 100

Not a repeat - as MM pointed out to me I was getting way ahead of myself (and the rest of you). Today really is day 100 and yesterday was day 99 ...

Right first off in New Zealand we do not use fast drying paint for or road markings so we paint around our puddles.

Paint puddle LOL.jpg

The leaves have pretty much given up but the seed pods are holding on.

Reaching up LOL.jpg

As I was stepping on to the deck I heard a fast approaching car. Whipped around and did a quick pan.

Panning 1 LOL.jpg

But I think I may prefer this cropped version entitled "Into the Inferno"

What say you?

Into the inferno sounds good. I like the cropped one much better.

Please tell me they dont paint around puddles. That tells me you have rednecks down under as well.

Kevin it was an indentation in the road created after it was sealed, caused I would assume by a soft patch underneath. As this soft area was compacted it created a small indentation and hump which shifted the line. I thought it was unusual as well as interesting.

Day 101

I think it is 101
OK I got a chance to shoot the same band I shot on day 45 - I was not too happy with the initial shots on day 45. Tonight's effort is much better.
But …
somewhere along the line I changed settings and don't know where
But before that I tried one of those "twist the lens as you fire the shutter shots" to see if I could do. I now know I need to practice it.

My experiment

And then the club

And as for "brushes"in Elements 11 - once again I cannot find my watermark!! Man I must be dumb

Day 102

Well I was frustrated all day trying to think of a photo to take. Pacing up and down pulling my hair out at the lack of inspiration!
I decided to hop in the car and see where it took me - with only my walkabout 18-105mm lens. Didn't seem any point in taking any more gear - change lenses for what? I don't even know what I am going to be shooing.
In the end I had fun. Surprise surprise.
The supporting girders of one of our bridges.

This one is a wee attempt at HDR using 1 photo and PSE11 only. I like the result which is not overdone.

102 cont. ...

I love this one of a young girl's legs. She looked terribly sad sitting on the concrete overlooking the river.
