I took a few photos this afternoon, but not many of them made the cut, I only kept 2.

I decided to post this one here instead of the insect thread because I have given it a bit of treatment with NIK's Color Efex Pro and so its not quite natural

The lip of an Orchid flower, also given some treatment in Color Efex Pro

Some pics as promised. The creek is flowing nicely after some heavy rain that Cyclone Dylan bought to us. It has dropped considerably since this morning.

This one was taken just downstream from my house.

This one is looking upstream, my house is through the bush on the left (not visible here)
Notice the mangoes hanging from the branches.

I headed back past the house and grabbed the tripod to take some longer exposures on the upstream side of the house.
Spotted these two beside one of my water tanks.

More to come soon, just got a couple of chores to do before dark.

These next lot are on the upstream side of my house.
I will have to get a CP filter or an ND for my 16-85 to slow the shutter a bit more. Or maybe thats slow enough, what do you think ?
I can't believe it, I forgot to turn the VR off for these shots
