Well, I'm going to get this out early today. I'm going to go lens shopping later this afternoon and still not sure about what to get Sig or Nik 70-200, 2.8… After all it's only money…
So here's my shot for today until I get the new lens :)

Marcel, You might have read in another thread I'm thinking about giving up 100mm for fast glass. (Going from 300mm to 200mm 2.8) No way I can afford 300mm fast glass.

I'm very interested in photos from either lens shot at 200mm on sunny and cloudy days. I like to see what the 2.8 can do outside, I know how it will perform inside.

Congrats on the new lens! Whichever one you buy.

I googled "Maple Leaf Flame suit" and got nothing! Can you post a pic?

OK… I have some explaining to do. In a forum, when things get a little out of hand and some people start angry words, we say the post is getting fired up. Well the flame suit is a figure of speach that means that the person wearing it will not be affected by all the flames sent his way.
So, the flame suit does not exist. But, maybe I could make one since we seem to have an excess of asbestos in my area.

Here my 1st picture with the 70-200 2.8. I let you guess which brand I bought. :)

Beautifully sharp, nice bokeh. Any Marcel magic added?

I would guess Sigma (only because you have other Sigma glass that you like).

Just a tiny bit of sharpness added.

The glass is Nikon and it is heavy, but sharp and nice. Can't wait to use it a little more.

I have to leave early tomorrow and won't have time to post so I'll post my picture for tomorrow tonight. Did it just this afternoon.
This exactly shows this person's character. Some like it, some don't...

today's pick. Nice couple that I've known for around 20 years. Nice people, good piano.

Rain and other obligations won't let me shoot today so I've reworked on one of last year's capture. PP is getting easier with constant practice.

OK, couldn't help myself and did some more shots this morning. I'll try to spread them so I don't bore you with my stuff.

One more HDR I did this afternoon for the love of clouds.

After I took the spiderweb shot this morning, the sun came out and I was able to revisit and use a smaller aperture to get more depth of field. A little PP magic and here's the shot. I find it very intriguing that a tiny spider could make this artwork. (click on the image to get to my gallery's version)
