Day 259, 2013 - Golden Trees

I know this one may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I found it kind of cool. It was late and I didn't have a picture of the day. Off I went with my camera to shoot at night and see what I could find. In the park are some trees that have really jumped ahead in changing colors for fall and are mostly yellow now. There is also this park light to the right of the trees that floods the area with a golden yellow light. This may be for bug prevention, or maybe a cheap bulb, but it casts a pretty cool color on the trees that have changed. I also loved the fuzziness of the leaves from the wind lightly blowing.

I always find it interesting to on occasion shoot with no real knowledge of what the outcome will be. Sometimes, as in this picture, I am rewarded. Enjoy, or you can hate it. Either way I like it.

Continued... Day 260 - Lightning

Had some storms roll through. It's late so I have to get to bed, but I had to edit and at least get one posted. Tomorrow I will get the rest up. Got some great shots tonight!

Day 262, 2013 - Dog

Setting sun made it difficult blowing out the bright side of the dog and the other side being in a harsh shadow. What I really love is you can see hairs blowing off of the dog as he ran.

Day 264, 2013 - Spider

Captured a great spider shot and I found that my D5100 seems to do a better job (macro work) more reliably. My comment is not to start an argument, just my own experience. It is becoming my go to camera for macro.
