Thanks Mai, My walkaround is the 18-105 kit lens... I was only one to be able to get them all in (18mm) Pat in NH

I would say I didnt have any more battery, lol. Such large groups are really not easy, but you made it look like it was :)

I was heading to a river access on the Merrimack River
(Had to cross the tracks :) Hard to see past the trees, Guess we should here a train!

I was looking as I drove back in through the woods .. for anything worthy..
Truck with collapsed bark.. Railroad tie and I purposely cropped to the 2 trees on the sides

At the river, they were removing a boat... so I took this and played in Light Room 5
(I did get a river shot further down and posted it in HDR)

Interesting that this is the same subject but how different they look in landscape vs portrait. The landscape does absolutely nothing for me BUt I really like the Portrait version.

I did not realize it until after I took them!! :) The landscape did not feel right but I wanted the church tower, early sunlight and the clouds. The RR tracks were below and there was a fence. Then I saw a break in the fence and stepped into a spot to shoot the vertical through the opening. I immediately liked it but did not realize how much better than the first...

It showed me to look more often to trying various angles etc...

Kevin, no complaints... Yes I am very pleased... I do want to shoot some with the 5100 too as that will have to manual focus. I am expecting for my shooting, manual will not be an issue..
