I have no problem loading your pics, perhaps it depends on the person's computer, I have 8GB of RAM, I think that helps. Sometimes there are site or server problems which slow things down.

Does anyone else have the same problem with my photos? Then maybe I'll just leave them as thumbs, but it saddens me since the color and definition is so askew with just the thumbs...

It's not all photos, only the HDR's.

Feb 26th Chipotle Tuna Salad:

Why not kill two birds with the same stone? I prepared this very nice salad for Line tonight. It's a good thing since I had not taken my camera out of it's bag all day. So it will also be my second entry in the Food Assignment.

Not that it causes too much trouble but even I've noticed Ted's pics and off late your pics Marcel take some extra time to load... Maybe you can try irfanview or pixresizer to slim the image down fully.. To easily under 300kb and losing will be zippy..

Oh yeah did i mention all the pics are freaking awesome?? :)

Thanks for the comments and the likes. I'll try to compress my photos a little more in the future. So you guys tell me if it ever gets better as far as loading speed.

Well, let me explain. These won't win any photo contest for sure. But they are the excuse I didn't go out to shoot today.

What started as a "let's just replace the flooring" in the basement is going to be a little more. The owner before me had built a closet OVER a window. So, before installing the new flooring, I got rid of the closet. This is what it looks after the cleanup. And the nice bubble gum color you see in the back was covering the whole basement when I bought. I had not painted inside the closets. The color was just too too much for me.

All the space in the first photo was taken up with my shop, so everything is now just piled in the other basement part:

It's a little narrow, but it might work as a small home studio. Add backgrounds and lights and you are all set!

Wow that pink is something no wonder you changed that right away! Closets built over windows in a basement is crazy. You're very neat in your demo and building we just did some work in our basement in Fall and my camera would not enter that disaster I would have lost it haha

I'll pay more attention to the loading issue, but given that loading full size requires bringing in the entire image vs. just the thumbnail I suspect the issue has more to do with the number of images on a page and not just one image. So when 2-4 full images are linked in several posts, as you and Ted often do, and there are several posts on the page, then it's more than possible that you're going to notice them loading, even on DSL. I typically get 20-30 Mbps like Don, but every once in a while I'll notice it. No big deal for me, but I know that when I was visiting my parents last week, their DSL made some page loads painful.

As for your photos, I really like the B&W, though it's just a hair dark for me. May be a difference in monitors?
