Too Over The Top?

I participated in the Kelby Worldwide Photowalk yesterday in Philadelphia. We walked the Ben Franklin Bridge. Good day. I took an HDR of one of the control buildings and then cropped. I cranked up the sharpening trying to get an edgy or gritty look. Is it too much?

EXIF: D300, Nikkor 17-55, ISO 100, aperture priority @ f/16, 5 exposure HDR from Photomatix

I love it, Eduard! Excellent post processing.
Gosh, it brings back memories . . . drove over that bridge many times! Never walked it. I loved Philly when I was there!

Awesome, I like the uncropped version. This shows that it's the angle which makes the crop look crooked. Nice work, let's see some more!

Eduard, I like the original. As for it needing straightening? if you look at the bottom around the bricks with the word Philadelphia it's fine, when you look at the top you see it needs a little adjusting. The boarder is what make it look crooked. Perhaps if you use the transform skew tool in Photoshop on the right hand corner and pull it down a little, then crop and add your boarder it might work to fix that. Just a thought.

When you bracket 5 shots is it auto from one exposure and processed by the camera or 5 individual captures? wondering what the time span is.

Depends on what shooting mode is used when bracketing. If you use CL or CH, it can take as little as a second or two.

The brick walkway HDR is interesting, nice work!

Thanks Rick. The HDR's from the last couple days are from 5 individual images. On the D300 I select the number and type of bracket and hold the shutter down until they are captured. I used Photomatix Pro to create them.
