We've put rules in place for the Market to safeguard against fraud, and to make things fair for everyone.

 1. All items for sale must be posted in the Nikonites Market
 2. You must have at least 200 experience points to post in the market. See here for how to earn points. To see how many points you have go to your profile and click on 'Experience'.
 3. There must be at least one picture of the item for sale with your handwritten username and date on a piece of paper to prove you have the item in your possession.
 4. Payment and shipping details should be discussed via PM.
 5. We recommend using Paypal
 6. After item is sold, please contact a moderator so the thread's title can be sold.

This means that there is no risk to you for purchasing that item. You can get a full refund if there is a problem with your purchase.
To ensure that your payment remains safe, we strongly recommend that you report any concerns within the first two weeks after your purchase. To report an issue, send an email to [email protected].

So this is an EXTRA layer of protection for our users.

Can we recommend sellers not request buyers use the Paypal gift option? This leaves buyers without added protection.

I would like to sell something and was wondering how much it will cost me as the seller to sell using Panjo?

It's free - the only fees you would have would be associated with Paypal.

There is some more info here: https://panjo.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/topics/29756-about-selling

We use their system for the Market. Basically they provide the software and buying protection.

Thanks for the information. I looked through the info about this on the site and it said that you would list your item for free but nowhere could I find out if there was a cost if you actually sold the item. Thanks again, Jeff

I modified the rules a little bit to include a transaction fee for new members that do not wish to participate in the forums, but are just here to sell things.

It seems that some items that have already been sold are still listed on panjo, so it makes it confusing. And I was thinking some stuff might end up sold twice.

The seller has to go back into the system and mark it sold.

I am new here, so pardon my ignorance.

I looked at the sell rules, but puzzled how they provide any protection? I normally use eBay/PayPal, but eBay now charges 10% plus there are PayPal fees, so selling a D4 say for $5k incurs around $600 of fees, which is a major consideration. Don't know a thing about Panjo.

Do you think that your protection extends to the sellers??? I have heard of people who had payments reversed after they had shipped!
