Nice shot, something is bothering me about the focus, Maybe you should have focused on a petal instead of the stamen, or maybe some sharpening would help.

I took a macro workshop with the late (and great) Don Gale. His critique of my efforts that day were related to aperture to control depth of field. My guess is that a smaller aperture would have had more than the stamen in focus in this image. I remember that he recommended aperture priority and f/22. Something to try next time?
