Part of my 365 series. The trouble with the 365 thing is I keep missing other stuff!

Got a new toy, and couldn't help but "macro" some of the condensation. Also, dabbling into tethered shooting, but sure hate Lightroom over 'shop for everything else.

My name is Mandy and this is a picture of my son that was one of the first pictures I took with my D5100 last year. Its one of my favorite black and whites. I am sure it was shot in auto mode to some extent.

My kids make it easy and fun to use this camera!!! :)

I am new here and will set up all my information once I get to a real computer. But for now...hello! :)

Again with the black and whites...usually not my style, but I do love them when they work! :) There are a lot about these photos that are not perfect, but I think they are pretty nice.

I guess I should also indicate that all 4 of these photos were in a JPG format , however I have started shooting in RAW only and have started working on shooting only in manual mode. I am trying to see of there is a way I can do any local workshops here where I am at. I have read and read and read but feel that hands on is the best way for me to learn.

Thanks...I have always been told I have a great eye and good composition, but I know I personally lack the technical side of things, which I am working on! ;)
