Dear Rocky,

Thank you for replying for my thread.

I love doing photogrpahy. Still now i have been doing this with my Nikon L26 which was a normal Camera.
"I have never used a DSLR" .. So im thinking to buy a new one and learn to use DSLR(Frankly Speaking as a Beginner). I dont know anything about ISO, Exposure, Shutter Speed, Focal length and all. So im eager to learn all about this.

Im intersted in taking photographs of pepole, landscapes, pets etc(Not Videos).

So for all this im planning to take a DSLR at a range of $600. So i was doing the research for this i found Nikon D5100 was good in all aspects. But i got confused in the middle with other models like D3200 and Cannon EOS D600. So which will be best for a beginner??

So please suggest me..

Ajay, in your budget range, with your experience, and with what you plan to shoot, I have no trouble recommending the D5100. Many here use them, you can get great results and I started with it as a beginner.

Hello, I am new to this forum. I have had my camera for about a year and a half. I mostly shoot landscapes and I prefer HDR to truly capture the scene. Here is my recent best image:

I have recently seen some lovely floral shots here on the forum, which inspired me to go outside and take photos of our front garden. I took quite a few, but only 2 really spoke to me when going through them. Out of the two, here's the better one. I can't remember the name of the flower, but I was going for more of a "dreamy/peaceful" image. I think I got it too!

(edit: sorry I don't know why the attached thumbnail is showing up too :( )
