More catching up!

May 27

Took a cool night shot of the refinery near my house. That's about it.

May 28 and May 29 - Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to do any shooting these days. I was super busy!

May 30

More around the house stuff. Some days I'm just lazy.

Later that day, I left Laurel, Montana to begin the 11 hour trek to Yakima, Washington to pick up my new truck!

May 31 -
After stopping in Spokane for the night, we simply got up and continued our drive to Yakima, so no photos that day unfortunately.

My, my, my, my... I am getting bad at this thread. Sorry to keep everyone waiting! I'll try to be at least a little better about it. My photography hasn't been quite as epic recently, so bear with me!

June 2

I'm lazy, so I only got one this day.

Again, being lazy, so I only got one good one. Some selective color here. Can you tell I'm a bit enamored with my new vehicle? :D

Here's an idea. Just grab your camera and walk outside wherever you live. Start to look at it critically, and stay within 50 feet of the building, be it a house, apartment building, townhouse, etc. Try to look at it in a new way from different angles. You'd be amazed what you find!

I woke up early that morning and grabbed some very cool shots as the sun was coming up. I could just shoot in this area for days.

Alright folks, I need to say...

My sincerest apologies for neglecting this thread and many of your fantastic 365 and daily photo threads. Recently, my parents moved out of town for good. Shortly thereafter, a very good friend of mine had a pretty major medical emergency. I spent a lot of time taking care of him and his family. Last week, my fiancee had her wisdom teeth removed, and due to some bad luck or ineptitude, she developed a rather serious infection that required a visit to the local emergency room. Needless to say, life has been... busy. Every time I tried to get caught up with photo editing, something would come up. I barely had time to update anything online. So needless to say, I have been a bit swamped.

I thank each and every one of you for keeping an eye on my work and for being positive. I greatly appreciate it. Anyway, back to the photos!

June 10 - A short visit to mom and dad's old house brought back some memories.
