Lightroom is a much more powerful editor than a lot of people give it credit for. While I don't agree with everything that Tony Northrup puts out in his videos, I found his book/videos on Lightroom to be really helpful. You might check those out, plus just search for any topic you are wondering about in Lightroom on YouTube, and you'll get lots of vids to check out.
