I just upgraded to CS6 recently so I am on a mission to learn all I can about it. My very first photography teacher 34 years ago told us "You have to learn your craft before you can learn your art" I think many people try to jump ahead to the art and never quite learn the craft. I think you have done well in both.

This is absolutely beautifully done . . . and what a view . . . I have such a bad case of travel fever!

BTW . . . I think there are a couple of spots on your sensor . . . I did clean my computer screen so I think they're on your pic. You may need to clean your sensor.

I have been working with panoramas for class recently. Have learned several tricks. What program did you use to do this?

I dunno any tricks Don.. just taking baby steps :)
This was done using Photomerge

I have been playing with all the options in CS6 Photomerge. I would bet you used the automatic setting. Try the same shots using perspective. Some shots will do better using this option. Ans as much as I love CS6 I found that on some of the panoramas I have been working on the Microsoft ICE actually worked better.

This is a 5 shot panorama. took me a few attempts at trying different settings but finally got it with no bend.
