I dragged out the 18-55 kit lens this morning to get some shots of the garbage pile in front of the neighbor's front door.
Sent a couple to the site manager. Nice big sharp color pics.

Putting the 85mm f1.8 back on it now.

I haven't tried it on the D7100. It was the go-to lens on my old D3100.

Wondering what your thoughts are on this one? I have the Nikon 12-24 f4 that I use for landscape and astrophotography shots, but I'm strongly considering selling it and getting the Tokina...I've learned that the extra f stop can make a huge difference in astrophotography.
