I love mine too. Most people don't realize nearly every awesome telephoto shot in Nat Geo and magazines in the 80s, 90s, early 00s were taken with this. That was when every shot cost money and you couldn't photoshop to "create" images when your lens came up short. I'm still trying to duplicate the angry photographer's claim this lens will shoot a car 800 yards away and you can crop in to read the registration sticker on the plate. My eyes just aren't good enough in live view and infinity really isn't something you can dial in. I am thinking of using my 55 1080p as a monitor to really dial in the focus and then mark the barrel.So I went outside with the 300 on the tc-14b just to see what metering etc. would be, started chatting with a neighbor when I heard the turbines. Hand held at f/4.5 gonna use the tripod today.

Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 for now as I continue to test it.
Thanks to @Lawrence, I have my Nikon 10-24mm f3.5-4.5 on my D7100 just to see if I can best his Sigma images while I'm stuck in Vegas.![]()
