Have you tried using a neutral density filter?
No I haven't because I don't own any. I was in the market and did a bit of research (including on here) and came away confused as to what is best to buy. So that has gone on to the back burner for now.

I woke up and the first thing I thought of this morning was that the first one is not right.
I was trying something specific which included uneven blurring and a whole bunch of other stuff but for this image it doesn't quite work.
I think a softer approach is needed so came up with this tightly cropped version ...

I had a 9x16 version of this in the weekly challenge which I had to take down as it was in breach of the rules.
This version is a different (better in my opinion) crop.

I've had someone suggest that the dead tree should be cloned out but I like the fact that the path leads to a dead tree shrouded in mist. Makes me wonder what happened at the end of the path.
Your thoughts?
I think it does look better with the tree gone. So hate not thinking of that!
