Thank you for posting this, Dan. What a great performance! They're much better than most of what passes as talent today.

I'd never heard of this group of young Norwegians until now. Their instrumentals and her voice are a spectacular combo. Seems like bluegrass has been a constant even as country music overall has ebbed and flowed. Thanks for introducing me to Hayde Bluegrass Orchestra.
Ya' hooked me!
I am glad you like it. I didn’t know they were Norwegian. My People :cheerful:
You're from Norwegia, too?![]()
People will still be listening to this when they are saying "Elvis who?".
You're wrong. People will ALWAYS remember Elvis Costello.

I have somewhat eclectic tastes, with a handful of can't stand genres. I like a lot of the old rock I grew up with, some of the newer alternate stuff, as well as some weird stuff like Squirrel Nut Zippers. I keep coming back to the good stuff, however.

Although I am a classically trained musician, I do enjoy classical music that has a twist to it - kind of like the yesteryear style of Hooked on Classics.![]()
Perhaps you'd like this. And it might also appeal to those who like bluegrass, but are on the fence about classical.
Dangerspouse, thanks for thinking of me.I thoroughly enjoyed the video. Although the blues is often characterized as American roots music, it's appreciated and played all over the world as mentioned on the "Keeping the Blues Alive" website (founded by Joe Bonamassa) which gave her and the group a shout out a couple of years ago.
