The latest I could twist out of Square Trade is that it may be back from Nikon Service around the 10th, but I have given up believing anything they say, quite frankly. I called Nikon directly and they were able to verify that the body was at one of their repair facilities, but were prohibited from telling me anything else.

That is the craziest thing I have ever seen. I have never bought anything with a Square Trade warranty, but this is quite an example poor customer service. Seems that they would have saved a lot of money just replacing the camera outright. It seems like ST repairs at Nikon do not get much if any priority. Sorry too hear that.
