A much better day -- the Arb was soggy and empty, the birds accommodating. What more could you ask for?

This night heron has been frequenting the front pond of late, usually basking on some rocks. Today he was out in the shallows, doing a weird bobbing dance. I supposed he was trying to raise up some crayfish from the bottom

When I stood up to readjust my tripod, I saw what the real reason was -- a hawk sitting about 5 feet above him in the old cypress

The hawk flew off and I was about to follow when the elusive belted kingfisher arrived with a load of breakfast

what did you eat then??

just noticed you are on page 356, you do know it was a 365 (post a picture not page) daily? lol

Just the usual.

I figured since I did a 365 last year, but forgot to officially post it, I should do a 365 Factor this time -- 3650 posts/365 pages at 10 per. I might make it yet.

I have no idea what the rules and guidelines may be, as I am not allowed to view that page. Don't know why not and the powers that be have never answered my queries, so there you go.
