On my way home from work, I saw this strange site. There were dozens of birds bathing in a mud puddle. I only got a few shots before the birds all flew up to the trees.

They were fast little creatures.

I have a favorite place that I like to go for sunsets that few people know about. It is a farm way out of the beaten path. I went there tonight to try to get a sunset picture when the rooster and hen met me at the roadside. They were very friendly, although I know that they were looking for some food. It was nice to have a greeting party at the farm.

This cow was a surprise when I found a good place to get a shot of the sunset. She was in the shadows and I didn't see her at first.

On the farm there was this llama resting while the sun went down. I like the way the light rims it's fur.
