We are such a fragile species Wendy. Many creatures are able to thrive in conditions that would kill us. The are also, by and large, more photogenic than us. If they had a wall to hang it on, I am sure they would treasure your portrait of them.

Ron, yes you are so correct, we are a fragile species. I was freezing out there taking photo's while the birds were just happily swimming in the cold water. If I had been in the water like they were, YEP, I wouldn't survive. I agree that they are also very photogenic, they never complain about how they look in a photo. I used to do Portraits for a living. I didn't like it because I couldn't please anyone. Most women HATE their own photo.
