Wendy, you are posting some great flower photos. I don't think you are old enough to have been a "Flower Child", but you have definitely "Blossomed" into one. :cheerful:
Thanks so much for the compliment Walt. I do love to do the flower shots

Your flower shots are SO MUCH BETTER when you are shooting at f/8.
I totally agree with you Ron. That sweet spot of f/8 is fabulous. Most of the shots are SOOTC, I don't have to do much processing at all with them. I have to admit George was rightBy George, i believe George is right Wendy. Or should I say, "Blossom"? Could f8 be the sweet spot for that lens?
Thanks so much Ron, Flowers are still my favoriteYour photo Lillie's 4-5-2016 is skating on the edge of perfect. I like how the 3 blend together and like the way you framed them. Would be interested to know if the 60mm has the same sweet spot shooting in the field under changing light conditions as it does in in the studio under controlled light conditions? Heh? of course this just might be a shameless way for me to get you to run field trials for me. But whatever, be sure you share the results with us.![]()
