I hobbled around my sister-in-laws house today taking photos of some of her beautiful flowers.

Well you semm to be limping along. Some real nice flower photos you have there despite your injury. Stepped in a hole at Put-In-Bay years ago. It was one of the most painful injuries I can remember despite the fact that it was only a sprain. Here's hoping your out and about soon.

Thanks Ron, yep it's painful, but I didn't have to hobble far to get these shots. And I used my monopod as a cane.

That's the spirit. You can't compose photos and fret about your pain at the same time, so keep on shooting.

Exactly, I have to do something to keep me busy, and concentrating on lovely flowers is a great distraction.

I hope your sprain is healing fast, I twisted mine while playing tennis and it took awhile to regain full strength.
