Well, the snow has started!

We don't get much snow in the Charleston SC area, so when we do, it's a big deal. They are calling for around 3" in my area, just a little north of Charleston. I went outside a few minutes ago and it's coming down fairly heavily. It's those really small flakes, but it is starting to stick. Air temp is just below freezing, and it's forecast to be in the teens overnight. I would love to go over to Magnolia tomorrow and get some shots of it with snow, but I don't know if the roads will permit it, and not sure I would be allowed in. I'm a member and can go at times when the park is closed to the general populace, but that is just sunrise to opening, and closing to sunset.

If the roads are passable, I will try and get to downtown Summerville at a minimum and get some shots of the town in snow.

I know, for you northern folks, it's no big deal. I spent a couple winters in Nebraska and know all too well about constant snowfall. But, again, I don't often get the chance to shoot in the snow. Also, I grew up in Florida, so.............

We ended up with 2-3 inches, depending on where in the yard you measure. The roads aren't too bad, but there were definitely some spots in the neighborhood that were very slick, so I decided to just take some shots around the neighborhood. Came close to slipping and falling a couple times on my walk. Magnolia is closed.

This guy stayed out in the snow too long.
