NOT ELIGIBLE FOR CHALLENGE

I know this is an old picture and not eligible for this contest, but I thought I would post it anyway. This is the entrance way to the Dakota apartment build in NYC.
This is where John Lennon was shot and killed, Very sobering picture.
I took this photo on one of my many trips to NYC.

Yes, it was very moving to stand in that very spot.
As a musician and being influenced so much by his music, it was a moving experience.
The world lost a musical genus & humanitarian that day.

This is not what I wanted to take (there is this really cool old church with an amazing door way..but with 2 sick kids that didn't happen)...This is my little Sammy playing in his room this morning, he is finally feeling better... But when he got out his barn and he was laying down and I could see him looking through the door, it was just to cute...so I shoot it... Hope you like it...Amanda

It's Tuesday, gang. Get em in!

Kinda skimpy on the submissions this week, I'm a bit disappointed. You do remember how to turn your cameras on, right? Heck, even Gilligan had a door on his hut. Get busy and take some pictures!

Next week's challenge will be a whopper, so take advantage of the easy stuff while you can!

I think this is an adorable and clever shot, Amanda. Nice job!

One thing we don't have a shortage of in Billy the Kid country is "junky buildings and trashy doors"! Would have loved to submit something as beautiful as Curt's Stockholm door . . . sigh. But I hated to NOT submit something. Seems to be a lot of "old and weathered" in New Mexico. Must be the wind!

Jen, I love the colors and especially the reflection in the window! Very nice. (I'd love to have a sweater in that color blue!)

Hi, Marcel! I thought both of your shots were fascinating, but the one with the firemen is my favorite of the two. Very nice, authentic capture. I love these kind of shots. . . I guess I'm a "closet photojournalist!."LOL

Best Regards

Old workshed door

I love this shot, Jack. Nice detail and great PP . . . I feel like something is going to come through that door any minute! (been with 6th graders this afternoon . . . is it showing?)

Pavement Pilot, that's a very nice shot and I really like it in black and white. Is this a bus pickup shelter?

It is a covered foot bridge in Polson Park, Vernon, BC. It has a roof and sides, so I classified it as two doorways without doors installed.
