I cubified, hdr'd, oilified, canvassed it, and I may have even taken a leak on this one...dogmatic rules are stupid...these things are tools and although I am not very good with them I can see where someone could make a lackluster photo into something super cool.

The camera is a D300s. The lens a 17-55/2.8. The photographer is from the big apple.
