Thanks :D We had to get a new liner in May, so were without water on tap for over a week while the fellow ordered the liner and installed it. Bucket baths on the front lawn were not so bad, but filling toilet cisterns by bucket is a pain. Luckily we have a small backup take to fill buckets otherwise we would have been living on bottled water and buckets from the local river :(

Not too many flowers about with it being winter. Looking forward to spring

Beautiful flower shot!

That pano of the mill has a lot of emotion in it. The clouds and darkness of the photo add to a kind of... bleak feeling. It really reminds me of some fascinating photos of the abandoned city of Pripyat (close to Chernobyl) I saw recently. Very nice!

229/365.......YES!! YES!! YES!!

I got a Tamron 150-600mm. This is my first shot with it. I still had to crop it out a fair bit but then I was also a lot further away from the birds too this time, and I manually focussed as I didn't quite get the hang of the auto focus in this situation. Sooooooooo impressed so far :D

The big lens again. Hand held. Manual focus. Man that thing gets heavy after a bit.

OK....I am off on a 1000km drive tomorrow to visit my family down south. I don't have access to editing software while I am away, so I won't be posting any pics for a week or so. I should have internet access tho, so I will hopefully be able to look in. Depends on how much fun I am having really :D

My sister and I have been packing it in pretty tight these last few days. I've taken about 1000 photos, It's a beautiful part of Australia that she lives in. Can't wait to get home and look at my shots and pp them, but I am having fun. I'll need a holiday when I get back, I'm pretty weary :D

That's my trusty Nissan Xtrail. It never faultered on the 1800km return trip to visit my family south of Sydney. I knew I would have limited opportunity to stop on the freeways to take shots even tho I pass some fantastic scenery.

A Nissan lady, as well as a Nikon lady? You, madam, have impeccable taste :)
