197/365......cane harvest in full swing
I live in a cane growing area and July to December is cane harvesting time, so there is a lot of canefield burning and machinery moving about. It is not so easy to get shots tho unless they are harvesting fields that are on the roadside, like this one. Got lucky. Spotted the harvester as we passed and did a quick about turn

It's a bunya pine branchlet (if that's what you call them). They are largish and very spikey. It's a dead dried one that I found on the ground and laid horizontal to photograph.

203/365.....off Fingal Head

One of my fave spots on the coast. Sat today and watched a humpback whale (thru binoculars) tail thumping and breaching. We usually also see dolphins, but today I think was a little too rough in close to the headland for them. It's just a lovely spot and the sky was also lovely.

Bokeh Masters KIT BY DIY Photography Unique Special Effects System Heart Shaped | eBay

They are good value for the cost I think. I didn't think I needed a thousand shapes so just bought these hearts and the stars they also have. I already had the cokin p series filter holders, but they are pretty cheap too.

I got my bokeh shapes Now I need to figure out how to make them work. Thanks for the link so that I could get them. I think that I will have fun with them when I figure out how to use them.
