I especially like the portrait shots, Marcel, especially the sepia. You captured the eyes nicely --great shooting angle!

She is a Canadian singer and songwriter, Jill Barber. She hesitated for the shoot since she wasn't dressed up for performance. When I saw her come on stage that night, I thought she was a different person. But I caught her mood in my shot. I had to go sepia because the stage lights were all colors and gave a weird balance.

Thanks for the comment Helene.

Went for a short drive with the D90 and came up with a few and can't decide which one not to post.
So you'll have to see the 4 I prefer.

Today's pic is also the monochrome shot for me. I came back from work too late and it was already dark outside. The days are really getting shorter.

Too busy to post yesterday, still working today so this is all I had time to. I stuck a leaf to my door and took a picture.
Like Larry the cable guy says: "Get her done".

Young prodigy pianist Adam Gyorgy warms up just before his concert in Sherbrooke last night.

The last of fall. I guess next weekend there won't be any left to photograph.

This is the view I had while working today at the University

Some leaves on the ground inspired me to these two shots:

Always wonderful shots! You certainly have a great eye.

Thanks Jen,
But somedays (like today for example) the inspiration does not want to come. It's kind of a grey day, the colors are almost gone from the trees and I'm getting anxious to find a subject before the dark. We shall see...

I took a few shots inside and was not happy so I tried something I had never done.
Here's the results of my experiment:

Same situation here Marcel. Would it make you feel better if I gave you a "like" or do you want a big hug?:p:p:p:p:p:p

I got a hug today when I can home from shooting. ;)

It's been a really dark and cloudy day. I went out with the D90 and saw some trees that I thought deserved the HDR treatment.
So here's an original shot untouched just to show you the real light conditions:

_DSC1064.jpg

This time I only used 2 exposures for the HDR treatment in Photomatix, the normal and the one exposed for the shadows. Here are a few shots after PP.

For this one, I used shots of different angles and just threw them in Photomatix:

So I did a few shots and feel better now :)

And finally one that was crying for B & W

I went out this morning and came back with too many shots… I can't decide which one I prefer so I'm going to post a few. Maybe I'll make up my mind later or you guys can tell me which one you prefer.
