A wish tree. People write their thoughts, their wishes, etc. on a paper and put it on that tree. Seen in a shopping park

My daughter wrote for our family, using Chinese. (My family is 90 % Chines) Than she wrote in Thai, for her and our friends in Thailand. After that she wrote in German for my friends in German speaking countries. She didn't forget to write in English for my friends in English speaking countries. So she told me.
At least she was so cute and wrote in big letters: "I love my Daddy so much". This was touching.

A series of monks who are making candles at the Banbueng Temple. I got lucky and was allowed taking some snaps.

While my wife and daughter were doing their merit at the temple I was looking around. Took some photos of different kind of subjects which I spotted. I came to a place were I saw monks doing something

A monk was taking a candle mold. I have never seen in that many years in Thailand monks doing their own candles for the temple.

He carried this candle mold to a small fireplace

candle-banbueng-3.jpg

he shakes the candle out of the mold

candle-banbueng-4.jpg

Slowly he pulled the mold

and here it is - A candle

more to come - I am not that fast anymore. I have next time to think that I should use shutter speed priority or my 50mm. Maybe I should buy a 35mm

Wax pads are almost ready to melt.

People take a wax pad and write their wishes on it, using a needle.

candle-banbueng1-8.jpg

In the mean time some old pads are poured in a wog

candle-banbueng1-7.jpg

candle-banbueng1-9.jpg

Slow but sure they melt. People let their pads gliding into the pan as well.
