Last night was the first time I shot the moon. Talk about an experience...and learning curve. I was lucky enough to see it quite a bit last night. This is the best shot I was able to get.

Since I had to get up at 1:30am this morning for work I put my camera on time lapse on the deck and hoped for this best. No luck, we had too much cloud cover here.

Same here had a afternoon nap to stay up tripod with camera out the door look up all clouds back in the house and off to bed now I can't sleep due to afternoon nap paying for it now

Thanks! I had it all planned out where I was going to shoot...but with all the cloud cover where I lived, I had to go on a road trip until I found a clear spot...then just had to work with what I had...it was really fun!

I really like this partial eclipse against the blue sky. The subject is framed nicely with the trees and hills. Great job.

I am impressed with everybody's work. I had haze here. Go figure.

We had clouds....and rain just like we've had for the past week. My yard is looking like a forest. Can't mow it because it's too wet.
