Last night was the first time I shot the moon. Talk about an experience...and learning curve. I was lucky enough to see it quite a bit last night. This is the best shot I was able to get.

I must admit to a certain amount of pride at the very positive feedback from you guys in the forum. Thank you. It is appreciated. If you're not super proud of that shot. Then you need a kick in the seat of your pants! Bravo!
What a blow! Opportunities like this are very few and far between. Sorry circumstances conspired against youSince I had to get up at 1:30am this morning for work I put my camera on time lapse on the deck and hoped for this best. No luck, we had too much cloud cover here.

Thanks! I had it all planned out where I was going to shoot...but with all the cloud cover where I lived, I had to go on a road trip until I found a clear spot...then just had to work with what I had...it was really fun!Talk about a great Halloween shot, excellent work!
I really like this partial eclipse against the blue sky. The subject is framed nicely with the trees and hills. Great job.
