Remember that Swallowtail Chrysalis I posted in post #249 a few pages back? The butterfly emerged today. We've been watching and unfortunately missed the emergence, but we caught it drying and and preparing to fly.

...and a bit of an IR "Selfie" without any channel swapping. Lacks a little in the composition area, but what the heck, I was playing golf, not taking pictures!!

I think the blue shot is the best example of IR I have ever seen.

Thanks, guys. Let's just say there was a LOT of color manipulation to get it where it is. Getting something out of the camera even close to that is near impossible. Thankfully I have the workflow to get there down so it only takes about 15 minutes. LOL And there's a lot of subtle color correction on the edges as most IR will give you hot spots that need to be dealt with. But I'm real happy with the result.

I'm in FL, working with my brother to help my parents thru some "stuff". I take my first cup of coffee outside with my iPhone in my ear linked back to home in NJ, and a camera in my hand. Yesterday a pop-up shower hit and as I'm talking to my wife an elderly gent who had passed by on a slow ride not 5 minutes ago came zipping past in the other direction. Thankfully the coffee was on a ledge and I just raised the camera and squeezed off one shot. No planning, just a little lucky as I moved with him since I was in single point focus mode.

We got caught in one of these yesterday also. Luckily, Walgreen's was really close and I was able to get my camera in it's waterproof bag.
