I have a couple of their cases as well. Very nice stuff. But, I end up purchasing whichever case will actually fit the best (nice and snug) for travel, hiking, etc. None of the case mfrs have updated their lens lists in forever, so if one plugs in 4" by 6" on the Lowepro site, a case will pop up that is similar to a small casket in size. Way too big. I'm still betting the Pearstone will fit, but probably won't order it until I get back in June.

What's the ETA for your lens? We need some pictures in this thread!

I've seen a ton of reviews and photos from people who live in humid climates, so I'm not thinking that has anything to do with the problem. Almost looks like the paint has been corroded on the inside walls of the lens.

WAY bigger that's one big beautiful hunk of glass I hope it performs as good as it looks and it feels. If the 24-70
and 70-200 VC are any indication of it's performance it won't disappoint.

I've had bronchitis for going on three weeks all the while having a new lens just sitting there so I went out in the garage and took this shot.
