He forgot one important thing. If there actually was a burst of energy why wouldn't someone have been able to take a picture and say "That's a burst of energy!". It certainly wouldn't look like dust in front of a lens illuminated by flash. It's simple enough to set any DSLR to a 30 second exposure and take a picture of energy. It's done with lightning all the time.

Has anyone taken their camera and taken pics of orbs/ghosts? If so what setting did you use or what is the best setting to use?

Kathy, your best bet is to do a google search for a "pro-orb" site. I never rule anything out, so photographing "energy/ghosts" is certainly a possibility. A friend and I went to a "haunted" place (supposedly so verified by a paranormal group) and tried to see if we could capture anything.
No luck. Apparently nothing in the air (like dust or bugs) and apparently very clean cameras.
In any case, it was a fun adventure and we did scare ourselves silly.

Don't you know the way to identify a ghost is to take a pic of someone and if they don't appear then you know they are a ghost!

Vampires don't have reflections because they are not real. Same with ghosts.
When did this thing about orbs start, is that just since the invention of the camera?
The best way to view any of these anomalies is to look at the oblong portal that most people have in their living rooms, best time to try to observe these things is late at night.

I got it . . . as was mine.
As far as being real or not real, none of us fell off the turnip truck . . . we were just having harmless fun.
However, who's to say what's real or not? Mathematics and physics are full of multi-dimensional theories. I, for one, certainly hope that this concrete 3-dimensional world is not all there is.
