Here was a beautiful sunrise as I woke up this morning. '....red sky in morning, sailors take warning, red sky at night, sailors delight...', or whatever variation you may have heard.

Here's a nice warm shot of our gas fireplace for my friend Weebee, who knows what it's like to be cold. Adding a little warmth for you northerners! Stay, but not too long!

Sorry about the double post....mods may delete it....here is another from my series of abandoned or deserted houses. I had another one too, but figured I would save it for later....this one was so large to have just let it go. Out in the country and near Falls Lake. Looks like it was haunted as I drove into the driveway. I could have swore I saw someone walk past a window.

It may be that someone lives there. :D I say this only because there is a house as run down as this near me that until recently was inhabited by two elderly brothers. One died recently but the other still lives there. Farmers.... I figure the house is just a place to shelter and sleep. You'd think it was deserted tho just to look at it :D

Naw....I was just using Aperature priority....and let the camera pick it out for me. It was one of those damn "I don't know what to shoot" days....but I needed something! Thanks for asking. At least someone is paying attention. :cool:

Not this time...if you look closely at the door, you will see a small yellow sign that you can't read that says,'Posted, Keep Out!'. I tried to blow it up, but it's a little too distorted for a good picture.

Nice shots Chris. Funny you should post a fire picture. The wife and I went to Niagara Falls this weekend. We always stay at this one hotel on the american side because it has a fireplace. So, as usual, we bring extra logs with us, the duraflame ones. Because the hotel only provides one per day. So, I'm out in the parking lot getting our stuff when the wife comes out and tells me the fireplace has been replaced with a fake electric one! Now that sucks. The hotel got rid of them to lower the insurance rates. Oh well. Time to find another place I guess.

Gas fireplace would be ok..I didn't like that before, but they actually generate a lot of heat. An electric heater would result in us finding another room too! Hope you enjoyed your trip to the falls. They're great fun!

Here is a picture of a new Walgreen's going up right across the street from a CVS. Can't see that we have that many people in this area. We are northeastern suburbs. Oh well, it's our money that pays for these things and goes to show you that drug stores are making a killing off of us.

Here's a gift from the photo Gods. Not that it's the greatest, but it is different. Hint....even though it might look like the mattress is shooting out flames, it really isn't. Mrs. Buffalo is a photo Goddess. It was her suggestion.
