Here's the same picture as yesterday using Nik Tools to brighten up the flame.

Here are some ladies who bring their youngsters and excercise at the mall every week. I just happened to be there this morning and most mornings and decided to take a shot. I have to say they're a dedicated bunch. No pp today as it's been a busy day.

He doesn't look happy!

Caesar never looks happy....I feed him a big chunk of chicken off the table at times, and all he'll do is yawn and fart! (just kidding about the 2nd part but he probably does). He just rarely shows emotion, and most of the time the way we know he's happy is when he comes up to us to have us pick him up, and he loves getting petted. He just rarely shows any expression on his face. Someone else commented on that before. I'll try to catch him when he is smiling or something but it'll be tough.

Here's an attempt at using Nik Tools on my emergency (crappy) computer. My good one is in the shop after being held for ransome. I'll be using this substandard one for a while. Be patient. Pictures may not look that great.

did your harddrive get held for ransom by hijackers? I had a friend on flickr get hit by them, he lost a bunch of files, repair company got most of them back.

yes....and then it crashed and I couldn't get Windows back. Lucky the computer was still under warranty. Now I had to send it to California at my expense $70+ and they will pay to send it back to me. It sucks but what are you gonna do? I had my anti virus working and up to date.

If the way I sent it in is any indicator, I would say they will probably start from scratch. I had most of my photos backed up, but will have to reinstall everything. The computer should be at their facility tomorrow morning so I'll know more then. Knowing how these things usually work, they don't usually try to get your files back, they just wipe clean and reinstall Windows. That's the likely scenario. I will contact them tomorrow and give them my Windows password....I forgot to send it in with my unit. I was in such a hurry to get it to them. All I could get to before sending it in was the system bios.

Here's an image of our grand-daughter getting off the bus and running to the car in pouring rain. It started raining right before the bus stopped to let her off.

Here's a picture of a good friend of mine, Don. We've spent quite a lot of time walking at the mall you see in the background. We walked today and he was caught in mid pose. I took 4 shots and figured one would turn out good. I guess I was wrong. I should have taken 20. This is the best I could do in 35* weather.
