No idea Rick, but after the disgusting life these Bulls get at the hands of these " sporting " folk, it makes a change to see the normally one sided show balanced out for a change.

I have no concern for them at all. They chose to be there, the Bull didnt

Frankly, it think it all goes back to the that "caveman gene" . . .it's the closest they can get to fighting the "mighty beasts of our ancestors."

When I visited Mexico City (i was 19 yrs old), my friends took me to a bull fight without telling be what to expect. . . pre-internet days . . . I sat and wailed through the whole thing . . . the closer it got to the end, the more upset I got. They never took me to another one. I say stick some "picadors" (or whatever you call those spears) in the matador's "a$$" and see how well he does in the ring while bleeding profusely.

I like steak! Have you guys checked to see how your beef and steak is processed right here in the good old USA? Ever seen a feedlot? Ever heard the mama cows moo and moan for a week straight after cowboys have taken the calves? I'm just saying.. ;)

Ummm.....there's that apples and oranges thing goin', bud. Absolutely NO comparison! The first is for food acquisition, the second is for supposed "entertainment". Personally, I see no entertainment value in an animal being selectively tortured by a supposedly superior intellectual animal.

Which is my point...in their culture the bull is given a fighting chance. In ours they have no chance in hell. Run them through the shoot and shoot em in the head. Look at what we did to the buffalo. Look at all of our zoos. Do you all think zoos are bad? We lock up majestic creatures for our "entertainment"? What about chimpanzees used to test out drugs and makeup to feed our insatiable appetite to consume everything?

Now let's talk about hunting in North America. I bet there is a lot less slaughter going on in Spain or Mexico than the slaughter that goes on every year here. How many stuffed bears have you seen? Check out Helene's new magazine this month. Nice article about killing bears pictures included. Apples and oranges? Naw don't think so sir... :)

I don't think knocking other people's culture is fair. They have been doing that for that thousands of years.

Tradition isn't any form of justification. It used to be tradition to beat children. Hemingway talked out of his butt

You can add pitbull fighting and rooster fighting too. I do not condone any of this stuff but what I am saying is that it has been going on forever and it will continue to go on forever. So will child abuse unfortunately. Hemingway was a smart man IMO. Had some good looking offspring as well...wonder why they all kill their selves witness of to much violence maybe?

Yup, Dogs, Roosters, ( both of which goes on here a lot secretly ) et al - its all to do with a sickening lust thats only found in our species. Something else that sets us apart from all other creatures

A lust for for something disgusting that could only come from mankind. Luckily, many of us have risen from the swamp and stood upright, but sadly many havent

Hemingway may have been smart, but statements that came from him like the one above puts him in the sad camp.
