I used to do this all the time when I was heavily into Linux and BSD and an avid Windows hater.. Conkey was pretty cool. Used to spend hours configuring stuff . One time I had 4 Linux and one BSD partitions on one hard drive. Talk about confusing.

Windows 10 machine running Dexpot to give me 3 desktops....couldn't operate without them. They are switched by the little desk icons in the lower right.

Do you manually line up your drive icons across the top of the screen, or is there a way to get them to auto sort over there instead of down the right-hand side?

I dragged them there and it remembers where you put them.

Cool. I've been keeping my desktop clean since this thread started, but those pesky drive icons take up some space. I'm tempted to just turn off the external drive icons completely since I can still find them through Finder.

You can make them smaller. I like getting to them quickly.

Just changed mine now I can see how much storage I have.

To change Icon size right click on desktop.

And change Icon size.
