I missed this earlier. I've read that Toyota is releasing the 'Cruiser in the East again, and they are supposedly halting production of the FJ Cruiser.

I've got a 1988 FJ62 that I plan to leave to one of my kids when I die. One of my projects for it is a photography platform mounted over the roof. Likely four to six Yakima roof bars supporting 1 &1/2 inches (6 cm) of plywood sealed and coated with anti-skid on the top. I figure that would place the camera a about 12-13 feet (4 meters) above the ground for a different perspective.

Hopefully, you'll be as pleased as I am when you have yours.

Well today I finish work for another week off, I am unsure if I will have a car to get around as I am still waiting on both. One is being fixed and one is in the process of being kitted out and then shipped to Darwin. I may throw on my macro lens as with this little bit of rain and humidity we should be getting some bugs. I will also try and catch up on this forum but cannot promise anything as I have 5 assignments due by the end of the month. FUN FUN FUN :)

Gee I have been a bit slack lately taking photos, I also have been lacking a bit of motivation due to it being bloody hot and not having a vehicle. I am hoping that by the end of the month I will have a car and will be able to get away from home to take some photos. I also have been slack getting on here and checking out everyones photos. I will try harder I promise :)

On a side note I ordered a custom made pen from Brad aka @Ironwood and I am looking forward to that arriving in the coming days :)

Scott, no car = no fun :(, but there is always your macro insects close to home if you can find any at the moment. Getting pretty dry and dusty here, had any rain up your way yet ?

Hopefully your pens will get to you today. After you get them, I will post some photos if that is OK with you.
Actually, you dont need a car to try some product photography on the pens when they arrive ;).

Love the storm images Scott, but someone put a big giant watermark on the bottom of all your photos. If you ever find out who it was, please kick his ass for me. Thanks.:p
