A bridge had been washed out and was being repaired, so we waited.

We visited a Tea plantation, apparently when they have 3 leaves like in the first photo they are ready to be picked as such. It is a labour intensive task.

These plants are over 50 years old from memory.

Here are a few photos walking through some markets in Kenya, I had to be careful as I very nearly had a Kenyan wife from the happy couple in the last photo lol.

Here are some photos that I captured this morning during a storm, these do not really do the storm justice and this was the back end of it. Driving to my location lightning was going berserk.

This time of year most likely.

We just seem to miss the worst of ANY weather that comes thru our area. Good in some respects but it means not too many storms. Don't think we've had one this year, but we have had a dry summer this year, so that hasn't helped :( I bought one of those lightning triggers (just a cheapie), but haven't had a chance to even try it out :(

Well I caught up with some friends for a quick get together and photo walk. Even though it was hot and bright I managed to get a few ok shots.

Nice!! The fishies are good. We tend to get a lot of bright sunny days. You just get used to shooting at those times when the light is the hardest and harshest eh?
